By road: Off the A66 between Keswick & Cockermouth look for the brown sign ‘ Marinas’. Follow the road through the village of Portinscale till you see the brown signs indicating ‘Launch’ & ‘Nichol End’, turn left as indicated and you will find us at the end of the short lane.

By water: Take the launch from the Keswick Boat Landings to stop no 7. First stop on the anticlockwise route or next to last on the clockwise route.

By foot: Follow the footpath, after the bridge on the west side of Keswick, across the fields and over the bridge and past the Derwentwater Hotel. Bear left through Portinscale village and follow the road until you see the brown signs marked ‘Launch’ and ‘Nichol End’.
