Nichol End welcomes large groups for hire and tuition.
We have many large groups returning every year from schools, churches , youth groups and other organisations.
We are happy to tailor activities to your groups requirements.
This could be any or all of sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, rowing, raft building or other games or adventures on the water.
All our instructors are well qualified and Nichol End is licensed by AALA.

20% discount on hire periods of 3-5 hours.

We can offer guided tours of Derwentwater by motor boat or sail. One way trips also available by special arrangement (not lodore)

Clubs
We offer a range of clubs from Friday a.m. Sailing club for parents and adults to holiday clubs for children and families. Ask in store.
Mini Courses – 5 or 10 hour courses split over several days or weeks. For any combination of sailing, canoeing, kayaking or windsurfing tuition for up to 4 people. Valid for 12 months.

Boat hire & tuition - The small print…
All boats are subject to availability, and weather conditions. All boats have a maximum weight capacity which must not be exceeded. Wilful damage with be charged as per our conditions of hire. All hirers must be over 16years or accompanied by an adult.
